Hotel Occupancy survey 2010
Hotel room occupancy in York increased again in 2010, to 79%. This is the highest it has been for at least 4 years.

York's 8 big attractions welcomed more than 2 million visitors in 2010, with a peak in visitor numbers in the school summer holidays.
Business tourism - economic impact report 2008
Business tourism in York generated £203 million in 2008, which is almost half of the total tourism revenue.

York is one of a number of participating cities and the continuous survey allows Visit York to compare the satisfaction of our visitors with the performance of the other cities who take part.
